Gadiel and Michael met online in January of 2021. Their first date was the 27th of January (exactly 3.5 years from the date of their wedding). Both transplants to Raleigh, Michael arrived four months prior and Gadiel moved to Raleigh in May of 2018.

Michael (who doesn't drink coffee) invited Gadiel to a coffee shop for their first date. Gadiel's first red flag was that Michael ordered a dirty dishwater colored tea instead of what they had come to get together.

Worried that Michael might lose Gadiel, he pulled the only Ace he had uphis sleeve- his barely above average Spanish.

Gadiel was wooed. And for Michael it was love at first sight.

After that, Gadiel laid out the rules for the relationship. Michael would ask "When am I seeing you next?" and Gadiel would respond "Don't ask me that. You're stressing me out." Luckily, Michael didn't give up and it wasn't long until they were spending every moment they could together.

Gadiel and Michael officially moved in together in October of 2021. Looking back now, things seemed to move really quickly. But who else was going to help Michael find his keys or his wallet or his driver's license or his heart?

Two weeks later, Michael begged Gadiel to come and work with him at their Crumbl location in north Raleigh. They have been working together there since and have become what they consider to be the ultimate dream team.

In April of 2023, they were blessed with the opportunity to purchase a home together. They've spent the last year fixing it up and hopefully you will be able to stop by while you're in town! They know their puppy Amelia would love to meet as many of you as possible.

3.5 years of pure joy and many more to come. We are so excited to spend this weekend with all of you celebrating our love.
